Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical financial guidance and support to students, ensuring they get the most out of their time at university.
  • Assess student needs and provide tailored advice on budgeting, managing expenses, and accessing available funding or scholarships.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to raise awareness of the University’s financial support services.
  • Help design and deliver workshops, educational materials, and outreach activities focused on improving students’ financial wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to data protection policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial advice, student support, or a related advisory role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with students from diverse backgrounds.

  • A relevant professional qualification or university degree is preferred.

Salary: £32,080 to £35,608 per annum (Grade G)
