Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Provide expert advice to students on financial wellbeing, budgeting, and managing funds.
  • Support students in obtaining financial aid, scholarships, and emergency funding.
  • Deliver workshops and one-on-one sessions on money management.
  • Work closely with university staff and external partners to enhance student support services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of student funding regulations and university policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial management or student support services (experience in higher education is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to show empathy and maintain confidentiality for students in need.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations relevant to higher education is preferred.

Salary Range: £32,080 – £35,608 per year (Grade G)
