Key Responsibilities
- Offer specialist advice and guidance to students on financial matters, including managing money and accessing funding options.
- Work one-on-one and with groups to help students navigate financial challenges while studying.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support.
- Develop and deliver workshops, resources, and events focused on financial wellbeing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of funding regulations, scholarships, and relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Experience in financial advice, welfare support, or similar roles (ideally within education or student services).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English; Portuguese language skills are an advantage but not required.
