Key Duties & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the execution and continuous improvement of on-site health and safety programs.
  • Helping develop and implement Health and Safety Management Plans, procedures, and training.
  • Partnering with engineering, construction, commissioning, and other project teams to ensure HSE requirements are integrated from planning to completion.
  • Conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations to maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Researching and interpreting health and safety regulations, preparing compliance reports, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Guiding risk assessments and job hazard analyses for daily construction activities.
  • Communicating clearly with team members, contractors, and clients to promote safety awareness and resolve concerns.
  • Participating in emergency response planning and incident resolutions.

Requirements

  • A degree or graduate diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related science/engineering field, OR 6-9 years’ relevant HSE experience.
  • General Construction Safety Induction (White Card) required.
  • Solid experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE programs, ideally in large-scale construction or energy projects.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Previous experience on refinery, chemical, or LNG projects is an advantage.
