Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning and implementation of effective site safety and health management systems.
- Contributing to safety and risk management processes, including incident investigations, HSE inspections, and hazard identification.
- Advising engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure safety standards are met at all project stages.
- Assisting with health, safety, and environmental documentation, compliance reporting, and communications with stakeholders.
- Participating in training sessions, audits, emergency response efforts, and project reviews.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field OR at least 6 years of relevant industry experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in HSE roles, ideally within construction, refinery, chemical, or LNG environments.
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card) or the ability to obtain one.
- Proven skills in risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and excellent English communication abilities.
