Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Offer pastoral care and spiritual guidance to Jewish students and staff.
- Organize and lead Jewish religious activities, events, and observances on campus.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful environment for diverse religious and cultural backgrounds.
- Work collaboratively with the Student Advice & Wellbeing team to support holistic student development.
- Serve as a resource for students seeking advice on Jewish faith and cultural life.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar chaplaincy, community, or religious leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Jewish faith, culture, and traditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusivity and respect for diversity.
This part-time position requires seven hours per week and offers a salary of £7,150 to £8,442 per annum (including London Allowance), calculated pro-rata based on a full-time salary range of £35,749.57 to £42,207.57.
