Key Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive therapy and counselling services to university students.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans and interventions.
  • Offer crisis support and collaborate with student support teams.
  • Deliver workshops and contribute to mental health awareness initiatives across campus.

Requirements

  • A recognized qualification in psychotherapy, counselling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in providing therapy, ideally within an educational or youth-focused setting.
  • Strong understanding of student welfare, mental health, and wellbeing.

Salary: £41,064 – £46,049 per year (pro rata), Grade 7
