Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and group support for students with specific learning differences (such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and related conditions)
- Assess individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with academic staff and disability services to ensure effective support and reasonable adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and engagement
- Stay up to date with best practices in disability support in higher education
Requirements
- Experience tutoring or supporting students with specific learning differences
- Strong understanding of various learning challenges faced by students in a university setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A qualification in teaching, special education, psychology, or a related field is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
