Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored academic support to students with specific learning differences, helping them develop effective study strategies.
- Work closely with students, staff, and other support services to ensure an accessible learning environment.
- Conduct individual tutorials and workshops to promote independent learning and study skills.
- Maintain accurate records and create reports on support provided.
Requirements
- Relevant experience supporting individuals with specific learning differences such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, or ADHD.
- A strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices within higher education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or related field is preferred.
Salary: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum (pro-rata), Grade 7.
