Responsibilities
- Oversee all support and welfare activities within King’s residential accommodations
- Lead the delivery of high-quality student support services, including mental health, safeguarding, and student engagement programs
- Manage a dedicated team, ensuring the well-being and safety of all residents
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the residential experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as academic departments and student services, to ensure joined-up welfare provision
- Respond to incidents and emergencies within residences and provide guidance to staff and students
Requirements
- Prior experience in student, residential, or welfare management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A good understanding of student welfare best practices, including safeguarding and mental health support
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and student populations
- A qualification in a relevant field (e.g., health, social care, education) is highly desirable
