Responsibilities

  • Oversee all support and welfare activities within King’s residential accommodations

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the residential experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, such as academic departments and student services, to ensure joined-up welfare provision
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies within residences and provide guidance to staff and students

Requirements

  • Prior experience in student, residential, or welfare management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A good understanding of student welfare best practices, including safeguarding and mental health support
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and student populations
  • A qualification in a relevant field (e.g., health, social care, education) is highly desirable
