About the Role: What You’ll Do

In this full-time office-based position, you will support the HSE (Environment, Safety & Health) function by assisting in process improvement and learning projects. You will work closely with specialists and management on initiatives related to training design, web development for team portals, data reporting, and process optimization for safety and environmental impact.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Support company-wide goals for HSE process improvement
  • Assist in creating and coordinating training materials, newsletters, posters, and marketing assets
  • Maintain and update the departmental intranet and web content, ensuring sites are user-friendly and current
  • Develop and implement enhancements to internal websites
  • Create digital forms and tools to foster engagement and responsiveness
  • Compile and analyze data for critical reports related to HSE projects
  • Assist in departmental meetings and status updates
  • Collaborate with senior process improvement specialists and management across all phases of projects
  • Help with the rollout and promotion of HSE initiatives, campaigns, and training programs

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Sciences, or a related field
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience in environment, safety, health, or training development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based training design software
  • Skills in Adobe Suite, SharePoint, and web development (FrontPage, Flash integration) are a plus
  • Familiarity with industry and regulatory standards for HSE training and development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Portuguese or Spanish an asset)
  • Experience with Bechtel HSE processes is an advantage, especially for internal or former employees
